Patrizicorse has confirmed Jackson Walls as its first driver signing, as the team prepares for its debut season in the 2018 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship.
Walls, who steps up from national level karting, will make his national circuit racing debut at next April’s opening round at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.
Michael Patrizi, owner of Patrizicorse, was impressed by Walls’ performance in testing as the highly credentialed kart squad prepares for its debut season in Formula 4.
“We are really looking forward to having Jackson driving with our team as we begin this exciting journey from karting to car racing,” Patrizi said.
“This is what we are about providing this important link from one discipline to the other.
“Jackson made great gains on his first test day, it’s a big learning experience though he conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. We are looking forward to gaining as much as we can before the season starts.”
Walls will be supported by Objective, with the content solutions company regularly seen over the last three years in the Australian GT Championship and Bathurst 12 Hour aboard a McLaren 650S GT3.
Patrizicorse has taken delivery of two Mygale Formula 4 cars, with a rigorous testing schedule at Queensland’s Morgan Park in January.
