Red Bull Junior Team driver Jack Doohan, son of motorcycle champion Mick Doohan, has completed his first test laps with British F4 squad Arden.
Held at the Rockingham Motor Speedway, Doohan completed a whopping 133 laps across the morning and afternoon sessions – the most of any other driver.
Doohan’s British F4 campaign makes it the third consecutive season that an Australian has competed in the championship – and for the Arden team – with Luis Leeds and Oscar Piastri racing for the squad in recent times. Former Australian Formula 4 drivers Harry Hayek and Zane Goddard have also competed in the British equivalent in years gone by.
All four Arden cars were inside the top ten, with Doohan setting the eighth fastest time.
The first round of the British F4 Championship will take place at Brands Hatch, in its Indy configuration, on 7-8 April.
