Australian Jack Doohan has continued his strong run of podium finishes in British F4, and now leads the Rookie Cup, after the most recent round at Rockingham.
Doohan started his Rockingham campaign strongly, with two consecutive podiums in the opening races. The highlight being the opening race which saw an Arden Motorsport 1-2-3 finish, with Doohan runner-up to Patrik Pasma.
Though Doohan’s joy turned to grief after a coming together with teammate Dennis Hauger in the final race on Sunday. Hauger was later penalised by race stewards.
Doohan leads the Rookie Cup by a solitary point over Hauger. Though in the outright classification, Doohan is fourth on 234 points.
British F4 will next visit Knockhill on 25–26 August.
