AGI Sport Top Wet Winton Practice

Rain was no barrier for AGI Sport, with Ryan Suhle and Jayden Ojeda topping both Friday practice sessions for this weekend’s double-round at Winton Motor Raceway in Victoria.

The AGI duo were only separated by 0.0264 seconds in the second practice session, as Ojeda aims to extend his streak of two consecutive Castrol Pole Positions so far this year.

Cameron Shields was the first Team BRM in third place in second practice, with Josh Smith and Lochie Hughes in the top five.

Speedway convert Ardie Jonic relished in the rain to be sixth, ahead of Thomas Smith, Zayd Tones, Antonio Astuti and Aaron Love in the top ten.

The battle for the Castrol Pole Positions will take place this afternoon from 2:05pm and 4:35pm AEST respectively.

Three races await crews for Round Four on Saturday, repeated again for Round Five on Sunday.
