Leading the way in the wet

AGI Sport’s Luis Leeds has topped the timesheets in a rain affected practice session at The Bend Motorsport Park.

Ahead of this weekend’s double-round finale as part of the Shannons Nationals, Leeds was 1.3 seconds faster than returning Team BRM pilot Tommy Smith. Leeds’ nearest championship rival Suhle was third quickest.

Leeds’ teammate Antonio Astuti was fourth quickest, followed by Patrizicorse’s Jackson Walls in fifth ahead of Lochie Hughes and Emerson Harvey.

The battle for Castrol Pole Position, across the opening races for rounds five and six, will commence from 1pm ACST ahead of the opening race at 4:10pm.

Leeds has claimed a clean-sweep of Castrol Pole Positions in the opening four rounds of this year’s championship.

Saturday and Sunday’s action will be live streamed on formula4.com.au.
