2015 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship runner-up Thomas Randle has set his sights on more victories as he prepares for the fourth round of the 2016 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.
Currently sitting fourth in the drivers’ standings, and after claiming his first race win in the previous round at Rockingham, Randle is only four points shy of second position.
Randle successfully completed a test day at Silverstone last week, and feels prepared for the challenge awaiting at Oulton Park.
“We had an error free day up at Silverstone, where we were playing around with the aerodynamics of the car, and also different geometry settings and I think we’re continually making progress with the car,” Randle said.
“The times were really tight, thankfully we ended up fastest.
“The last round at Rockingham was incredible and one I will never forget, after grabbing my first win in the championship.
“I’m just hungry for more victories now.”
The fourth round of the British Formula 3 Championship takes place this weekend at Oulton Park Raceway onMay 27–30, with Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday and Races 2 and 3 on Monday’s ‘Bank Holiday.’
