2015 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship graduates Zane Goddard and Luis Leeds will be looking to break the Carlin stranglehold at the next round of the F4 British Championship.
Racing at Knockhill in Scotland this weekend, Goddard will be looking to add another race win to his tally and climb further up the standings.
The Queensland teenager is currently eighth in the standings, and only two points behind Alex Quinn.
Racing for the Double R squad, Goddard enjoyed a strong showing in the previous round at Snetterton with a string of 4th and 7th place finishes.
Arden driver Luis Leeds will be looking to be a closer championship threat, with the Red Bull Junior Team driver just 31 points adrift of championship leader Petru Florescu in sixth.
The double race winner failed to score as many points as he would have liked two weeks ago, but showed the kind of pace which suggests he’s a real threat.
“We tested here back in March plus I have heard so much about what it takes to race here that I can’t wait to get on track,” Leeds said.
“We know we have to up our game, this championship is so intense and we need more points. Anything can happen, that’s the beauty of it and there are a lot of points to be won every weekend but we’ve got to grab more of them.”
