Drivers looking to race in the 2017 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship have two opportunities to receive assistance toward their racing budget for next season via either the CAMS Foundation Rising Star or CAMS Driver Development Scholarship Loan.
Applications for the CAMS Foundation Rising Star will close at 5pm AEST tomorrow, Friday 28 October.
Drivers that are interested in applying, or have applied, are also encouraged to also submit a separate CAMS Driver Development Scholarship Loan application to ensure consideration if they are not awarded a place within the CAMS Foundation Rising Star.
Up to four CAMS Foundation Rising Star drivers will be eligible to receive a $50,000 scholarship to be used in the 2017 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship.
Outside of those four, a further eight CAMS Driver Development Scholarship Loans are available for eligible drivers. At $38,500 each, the scholarship loans will cover the total cost of the car lease and insurance – reducing the overall season cost for a competitor to approximately $126,000.
